Varun Bahl is an Indian fashion designer born in Delhi. Bahl graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in New Delhi. He started his own label in the year 2001 since then has dressed up Bollywood stars. His designs embody glamour & sophistication. He knows what men & women with active lives & individual style want. Varun has a successful menswear prêt label with filmmaker Karan Johar called Karan Johar + Varun Bahl.

Varun’s collection ‘Nocturne’ for Amazon India Fashion Week autumn/winter 2016 marked his return to ready-to-wear. Bahl’s models walked the runway in clothes embroidered with creatures ranging from squirrels, owls, horses to jellyfish. The creatures portrayed a semblance of a forest on the garments. Romantic frills, circular-cut flounces, simple practical cuts, colour palette borrow from vintage wallpaper patterns. The collection looks sheer & soft was quite wearable, elegant and striking.
